The Lord Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. When He was tempted by the devil to turn stones into bread Jesus responded by quoting from the book of Deuteronomy, “man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”

When I left for Zimbabwe last April a very good friend of mine put some greenbacks in my pocket. I used some US dollars to purchase a Children’s Shona Bible for our children at one of our Transformational Centers through Mbvuku Baptist Church. We also provided an English ESV translation for them.

The Zimbabwe curriculum for the different grades has been uploaded to a device called “RACHEL”. We have tablets in which children will work together two by two depending on their grade level. Some of the children that we have enrolled have never been to school and thus they need help before enrolling in a government school.

All 5 churches are also starting an AWANA program in which children hide the Word of God in their hearts. The AWANA curriculm will be uploaded unto our “RACHEL” server, plus Sunday School material and whatever else is helpful in equipping the churches to love children in Jesus’ name.
