“We will not conceal them from their children, but tell to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wondrous works that He has done” Psalm 78:4

Zimbabwe’s Next Generation

Perhaps you remember that the disciples were indignant when children were brought to Jesus. The view of children in many cultures in the world isn’t a whole lot different than it was in Jesus’ day, children are to be seen but not heard. However, it is crucial that what God says about children be part of our 21st century Christian view of life.

“Then some children were brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” Matt. 19:13-14

Hands of Hope Youth Leaders Camp

The young people that you see in this picture are part of the future of Zimbabwe. They all come from our homes and projects. I would have never guessed 19 years ago when HOH began that the Lord would entrust young people like these to us? This month we will meet again with the 57 young people pictured here and 63 others who will join them. We invest in their lives so that the generation to come might love and fear the Lord. Your faithful passion to see young people like these loved through local Zimbabwe churches will impact Zimbabwe and the world.
