Rescued

Have you ever found yourself in a situation from which you needed to be rescued? Or have you witnessed someone else in a situation from which they needed to be rescued? I am thankful and glad because the Lord Jesus, continues to rescue people from the dominion of darkness and transfers them into the kingdom of His beloved Son.

For the last 17 years Hands of Hope through local churches in Zimbabwe have been rescuing babies and young children from the hand of the enemy! Pastor Abel and his wife Swerma are house parents at Shammah and they recently sent me these two stories of two boys who were rescued.

Anotidaishe

Anotidaishe, our miracle baby, turned 4 years on the 17th of January. We call him our miracle baby because he came to our Shammah when he was two days old after he was rescued from a sewer drain during a rainy day. He is still sick most of the time but we continue to believe God for healing in his life. One great blessing in his life is that he has now joined other family members at school. This has greatly boosted his confidence!

Blessing

Blessing is a very energetic young boy who has been a huge blessing to our Shammah family. It is a joy to realize how faithful the Lord has been because he was only two months old when he was rescued. His teachers are excited about Blessing’s school performance. His homework is always neat and in fact is one of the best students in his class. The little guy loves to memorize God’s Word and has memorized some chapters from it! We are confident that He who began a good work in his little heart will bring it to completion.
