A Testimony from Stewart Tavengwa

Stewart shared that he started attending the Christian Assemblies Fellowship Transformational Center (TC) in 2008. Reflecting on that time, he saw that God brought together a group of young people whom He was shaping into champions in their respective fields. He gathered them with the purpose of preparing them for their futures. Pastor Oliver Chiku instilled a deep desire in them to serve the Lord. The experiences they shared, the meals, the teachings, the games, and the fellowship-were all building blocks that God used to transform them into the image of Christ. Stewart was a beneficiary of Hands of Hope and is now a key staff member leading our 24 “Transformational Centers!”

Stewart’s timeline:

• His mother was promoted to glory 2008.

• He joined the feeding center in 2008.

• Training as a camp youth leader in 2014.

• Joined our HOHT staff in 2020.

• Graduated from university in 2023.

• Got married in October of 2024.

Stewart has now stepped into one of the biggest transitions of his life: becoming a married man. He is grateful to have married Michele his childhood sweetheart. Reflecting on their childhood, they recognized God's guiding hand, which has shaped their journey to this point.

Stewart loves the Savior, leads worship at his local church, and the transformation in his life is because of the work of the Spirit of God and your generosity. Thank you!
