Recently, I received a report from Hands of Hope Zimbabwe regarding the training of new teachers for 5 of our Transformational Centers who will be teaching in new preschools and bridging schools in 5 of our HOH churches starting in September 2023.
The aim of the training is to equip churches with the necessary skills of running a T. C with five pillars which are:Preschool, Bridging school, Children’s church, Kids clubs, and Community Empowerment projects. Facilitators, led sessions on the rights and responsibilities of children including the legal frameworks, principles of effective parenting, and the needs of children who come from hard places. The teachers are being trained at a teacher’s college accredited with the University of Zimbabwe. The theme Scripture was Deuteronomy 10:12-19.
If you take time to look on the faces of the 23 Zimbabweans, all from HOH partnering churches, I believe you can catch a little of their passion. These 23 will be ministering to around 250 children daily come this fall who because of your generosity will be loved in Jesus’ name. Thank you!
