“But if you cause one of these “little ones” who trusts in Me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone hung around your neck.” Mark 9:42

For the last two weeks, Valley Church’s 2023 Zimbabwe Vacation Bible School Team had the privilege of ministering to the precious children you see pictured. The Bible states in Matthew 18:10: “See that you do not despise one of these “little ones,” for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.”

We will be leaving Zimbabwe after two and a half weeks of fruitful ministry to over 100 children tomorrow. Despite sickness, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for our the Lord Jesus for the first time.

We take a picture of each child and do a special craft. For some, like Loveness, it was her very first picture. When it was handed to her, she said, “Am I really that beautiful!” The next day at crafts, out of the blue, she blurted out, “I’m having fun!” At the campfire, Auntie Kelley led the children in some of our VBS songs. Afterwards, the kids kept going with Shona songs. Loveness joyfully led many of these!

Every VBS camp starts Sunday evening, and the children go home Friday morning after breakfast. Many of these children do not get three square meals a day. Most wanted to stay at Habitation of Hope!

Thank you for changing the lives of these precious “little ones” for eternity.
