"How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Vindicate the weak and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and destitute. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 82:2-3
Noku
Nokutenda is 11 years old and joined our Arcadia Transformational Center in 2022 after having dropped out of school. She was unable to read or write and had only completed second grade. We thank God that she has since made remarkable academic progress at our Arcadia TC. In November 2024, she was recognized as the best at reciting memory verses during the Awana Olympics. This was no small feat as 100 children participated! An adaptive child, Nokutenda completed both grades 3 and 4 simultaneously and is now in grade 5. In her free time, she enjoys reading and dreams of becoming a chef after completing her studies. Her favorite memory verse is Proverbs 21:6.
Anenyasha
Our Chilileko HOH home has taken in a precious child named Anenyasha. She is a year old and was homeless with her mother. Her mother is a drug addict and is currently in rehabilitation. She was severely malnourished and small for her age. Lucia, our Home Director recently took her to a medical clinic for immunization. She had two shots and did not even shed a tear!
Your generosity and heart for the vulnerable reflect God’s call to defend the weak and fatherless, to do justice for the afflicted and destitute (Psalm 82:2-3). Through your prayers and support, you are not only providing for the physical needs of orphans and at-risk children but also offering them the hope and love of Christ. You are answering God’s call to rescue and restore children who come from “hard places” in Zimbabwe.
Thank you for your faithfulness because the impact is eternal!
