“Vindicate the weak and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and destitute. Rescue the weak and needy;
deliver them out of the hand of the wicked” Psalm 82:3-4

Justice

Justice is a topic in our headlines every day. But what is the basis for justice and why is it so crucial?  The profound answer is because the Lord is holy, righteous, just and moral.  The demonstration of God’s justice was vividly and visibly displayed on a cross at a place called Calvary. The Bible states it this way, “For the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”  Romans 3:26

Faith in Jesus

We feed 1800 children a meal a day through local Zimbabwe churches. We used to call them “feeding centers.”  but now we call them, “Tranformational Centers.” (TC for short) because we are doing so much more than just feeding children food. Let me introduce you to two precious young girls who are part of a TC.

Brenda Chadzuka (15) joined the TC with her brother Farai in 2016 after the death of their father. Brenda appreciates the food assistance she gets from the TC since her mother has been struggling to put food on the table.  They also receive spiritual input through the daily devotions before meals. Brenda lives with her mother and her four siblings. Their mother can only send two of her kids to school. Thank God, Brenda is now getting school fees provided through the TC. She is in form 2 and wants to be a nurse after her studies.

Sarah Timanimoto (13) is doing form 1. Her father died when she was still a little baby. She started going to the TC with her sister, Rutendo in 2015. She lives with her mother who struggles to provide regular meals for them. Through the TC Sarah and Rutendo not only receive daily food but are being transformed because of the love of Christ. Sarah also wants to be a nurse after finishing her studies.

It is because of your support that Brenda and Sarah are being changed. We would like to see them become nurses one day, ministering the love of Jesus to the vulnerable.
