Change in Zimbabwe

Last week I received an email from one of our dear brothers, “Dear Glen, Zimbabwe was euphoric last night, it was like we qualified for the “World Cup”! You will certainly step into a new Zimbabwe next year when you come. It may be the same, better or worse but new!” Yes, Zimbabwe has a new president! While there is much uncertainty, hope is in the air at least for the short term. However, we do know for certain that our “King Reigns” and we can rejoice!

No Change in Loving Children

Innocent Fusire is a humble, harworking 14 year old young man. He is doing very well at school and has dreams of becoming a pastor. Pastor Abel at our Mbare Shammah home says that he is always asking how he can hear God’s voice. They are currently taking Innocent through a course entitled, “New Life In Christ.” Please join us in praying that Innocent would grow in, “grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior.” He loves to garden and he does it with all his heart as our Shammah home has a wonderful garden.

Christmas is right around the corner and Zimbabwean’s love to celebrate Christmas too! The greatest gift we offer our children is Jesus. We desire that they will be “born again to living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” Merry Christmas and thanks for being on our HOH team!
