Received after being Abandoned

The Lord Jesus never turned anyone away and certainly not children. We are so grateful to the Lord for preserving little Tawanyasha’s life. We received her into our Shammah family when she was 3 days old after being abandoned by her mother at a local clinic in Mbare where Mbare Faith Ministries church is located. We thank God as we recently celebrated her 3rd birthday. We continue to ask for prayers for Tawanyasha’s health as she has not been growing as expected. She is just now starting to like solid foods bit by bit and we believe this is going to improve her health. So far, she has been living her life being in and out of the hospital.

Blessing Manyame

Blessing Manyame is 6 years old and a very energetic boy. It’s a joy to realise how faithful the Lord has been as he came into our Shammah home when he was 1 month old. Blessing is doing a special school schedule and his teachers are excited about his school performance. Blessing’s school work is always neat and he is one of the best behaved students in his class. The little guy has memorized many Bible verses and in fact even some entire chapters. We are confident that He who began a good work in Blessing’s heart will complete it!  

Our Thanksgiving celebration is over but honestly being thankful should never be over for those of us who are following the Savior of the world. We are exhorted and reminded in Psalm 103 to forget none of His manifold benefits. That’s why in every Hands of Hope Newsletter we are thankful for you. Blessing and Tawananyasha thank you as well. Have a wonderful Christmas and “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
