“Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close” Psalm 27:10

Runyararo HOH Home - Peter

This verse is true for children who have passed through our Runyararo home as many were abandoned by their parents. Runyararo became a home for Peter at a very young age after he had been abandoned. Peter is currently 10 years old and in grade 4 at Marlborough Primary. He is a jovial boy who loves to laugh and make others laugh. His role model is Pastor Peter Kanetsa who has become a father to him. He wants to be a pastor just like Pastor Peter when he is older. Our prayer for him is that he will continue to know the love of God at deeper levels and walk with the Savior all his days.

Miriam

Miriam has made great progress this year and has gone from a frustrated and moody toddler to being a ray of sunshine. She was born on 26th April 2011. Miriam is clever and is always smiling. She loves to sing, dance, and praise the Lord who has lifted her out of her dire situation. Miriam is a very good student and is currently doing grade five at Marlborough Junior School.

Miriam is a significant figure in the Old Testament and especially the "Song of Miriam" found in Exodus 15:20-21. After the Israelites crossed the Red Sea following their escape from Egypt, Miriam led the women of the community in a celebratory song and dance, praising God for their deliverance. Miriam's story is a testimony of her faith in God and her resilience in the face of challenges. Her actions and contribution reflect her determination to overcome adversity.

We are praying that Miriam will live for Jesus all the days of her earthly journey.

Your faithful support enables Miriam and Peter to live lives of hope. Our hearts are so encouraged by your kindness.
