“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” Romans 15:13

Hope is a foundational element for a child's well-rounded development. It influences their emotional resilience, motivation, social interactions, and overall outlook on life, providing a solid foundation for healthy growth and maturity. There is only one source of hope in this evil fallen world and He came into the world to save sinners and that’s why we call His name Jesus. He alone provides a foundation of hope, love, and guidance that can shape their worldview and approach to life.

Wings of Hope

Pastor Dube and his wife opened the “Wings of Hope” home several years ago. Alpha on the left is 10 years old and came to us from Social Welfare. His parents were considered unfit by social welfare to look after Alpha. Due to neglect, he was burnt with hot water and still has some wounds from the accident. We are grateful that he is recovering and currently in grade one in a local school. Alpha is now beginning to experience hope for the first time in his life as he is now part of a loving family. He is learning about the unconditional love found only in the Lord Jesus.

Yolanda entered the Wings of Hope home when she was 8 years old. She was living on the streets and had never been to school. We are thankful to God that she is now doing grade 6 and was appointed class monitor in her class. Yolanda recently had leg surgery and we are thankful that she is healing well. We have seen the grace of God in the life of Yolanda, and she has a hunger to grow in her relationship with the Lord.

Jesus loved little children 2,000 years ago and nothing has changed. His life and His teachings on compassion, empathy, forgiveness, healing, and caring for others can inspire hope in children by encouraging them to cultivate a compassionate and caring attitude toward others. HOH provides a hope, a family and a future for precious children like Alpha and Yolanda. Thanks for making it a reality! We are beyond grateful!
