“Pure and unblemished religion [as it is expressed in outward acts] in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit and look after the fatherless and the widows in their distress, and to keep oneself uncontaminated by the [secular] world” James 1:27

Perhaps you have heard that “orphans need the church?” I doubt if any of us would disagree
with this as governments around the world by in large are not caring for them! I personally have
the conviction that the “Church needs orphans.” Why? Lest we develop “ingrown eyeballs.”
Search the Old Testament and I believe you will find that whenever God’s chosen people began
to neglect widows, orphans,and the disenfranchised that they had lost their heart for God, thus
judgment was right around the corner.

Panashe Peace

It was only a couple of months ago that our HOH newsletter
contained a story about our Esther house and how we through
Renewal church are rescuing girls and protecting their unborn.
In May at Renewal Church, prior to me being introduced to
preach, Pastor David Broom called up a young girl (I will protect
her name) who was holding her precious son - Panashe Peace.
She found Jesus at the Esther House and is now receiving
counseling. She had been used and abused for longer than I care to
mention. But our Savior is in the “rescue” business.

Without your faithful support perhaps Panashe Peace would never have been born? Mabye this
precious girl would be without Jesus? Of course only the Lord knows and He is the one who
works out all things after the counsel of His will.
