Youth Leadership Teachers Training
The young people that you see in this photo were recently trained at our Habitation of Hope Camp on how to teach children to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus. The training was packaged to cover the following areas:
Storytelling
Class room management
Games and craft
Curriculum design
Children learn better through stories, and effective storytellers can persuade, enthrall, and inspire.
Classroom management ensures that Bible lessons run smoothly without disruptive behavior.
Children are visual beings; they often learn better through different games and crafts.
Curriculum design enables the children to relate, understand, and put what they learn into action.
This past weekend we held our first AWANA Olympics. When we started our 5 preschools and 5 bridging schools in 5 of our HOH churches in September, we also started 5 AWANA clubs where our children memorize the Word of God.
