“So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice, but do not fear me,” says the LORD Almighty. Mal. 3:5

On God’s Heart

The word “fatherless” in the NIV occurs 41 times and all are found in the OT. Orphans, widows and aliens are not peripheral but paramount in the mind and heart of God. Let me introduce you to two precious children from Mbare Faith Ministries Sammah home who are being loved in Jesus’ name.

Shylett Dzairo

Shylett is a fourteen year old girl whose mother died when she was five years old and her father remarried. Shylett unfortunately was abused but her father refused to believe her. She reported the abuse to her teacher and she was taken to the hospital where the abuse was confirmed and her abusers were arrested. Shylett still faces issues and is working through them in counselling which we believe will lead to emotional/spiritual healing. She is so thankful to the Lord for bringing her in 2015 to a place of safety. She dreams of becoming a nurse!

Takudzwa Maipisa

Takudzwa is an 11 year old boy who is currently doing grade four. Takudzwa lost his mother when he was 2 years old and his father disappeared. His step mother was unable to care for him and released him into the streets. Takudzwa came to Shammah in 2017. He is a hard working young boy. He is also very friendly, caring and loves to worship. He desires to be a soldier!

Thank You for your partnership in bringing hope to these children.
