“He doesn’t play favorites, takes no bribes, makes sure the fatherless and widows are treated fairly, takes loving care of foreigners by seeing that they get food and clothing.” Deut. 10:18-19
This passage is Powerful and Poignant
Because it connects care for the fatherless directly to the heart of God Himself.
Because God’s people are commanded to imitate His heart.
Because this exhortation is His merciful heart for the weak, vulnerable, and broken.
On 30 January, Hands of Hope hosted a church partners’ conference at Habitation of Hope. The purpose was to reinforce the mission, vision, and core values of HOH. It was also a time to establish goals and align projects with the Department of Social Welfare for 2026.
A “Caregiver’s Conference” was held from the 18-20th of February.
The goals of the conference were as follows:
Encouraging spiritual growth in caregivers.
Create an environment for sharing mutual experiences.
Promote best practices in childcare by equipping caregivers.
Increase the efficiency of medical care for children.
Provide caregivers with an opportunity to relax and unwind.
I am personally deeply grateful for you - for your partnership in this ministry, for your belief in what God is doing, and for walking with us as we seek to embody His compassion to the most vulnerable. Thank you for making this work possible. You truly are part of every story of hope being written.
