“From childhood, you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness.” 2 Tim. 3:15-1
Admire’s Story
The sacred writings of our Lord were planted in Admire’s heart from childhood. Highfield Nazarene Church and the caregivers at our Philadelphia home nurtured him from age three!
After completing high school, Admire enrolled in our 1-year Habitation Agricultural Skills Training Program, which he completed with flying colors. We are proud to report that he is now thriving at Goshen Farm. The knowledge and skills that he learned have enabled him to raise chickens, and he is now supporting himself. Admire has transitioned from being a beneficiary to becoming a contributor—a testimony to the success of our skills development program.
Speaking of “scared writings,” the children pictured with their new Bibles are from our Chileleko family. They welcomed baby Nenyasha (pictured in red) this year. She faced many health challenges when she entered the home, but is now on the road to recovery. We are thankful that all the children are performing well in school and are growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus, which causes our hearts to overflow with joy!
School started again in September, and the 800 children in our 10 preschools and bridging schools have settled in well. Your faithful commitment to loving children from hard places has made this possible.
