“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10
Lost Children
We all know there is a big difference between losing and misplacing something. If we misplace something, it could be that it is not that important. But if we lose something valuable, we will not rest until we find it. Why, because it is precious to us! Children are precious to the Lord Jesus. He seeks out the lost and needy!
Tinashe’s Story
Tinashe arrived at one of our “Rural Transformation Centres.” He was lost, withdrawn, and unable to read or write. Through the Bridging School and consistent encouragement, he began to flourish. Today, he is in Grade 5, reading confidently and excelling in mathematics. He often says, “I want to be a teacher so I can help children like me.” His transformation is a beacon of what hope and education can achieve. Tinashe is now dreaming of becoming a Christ follower who makes a difference in society. His heart burns with a desire to uplift others, and his story reminds us that when given an opportunity, children can flourish.
Ruth’s Story
Ruth came to us after years of instability and missed schooling. She struggled with self-worth and basic literacy. The Bridging School gave her a safe space to learn at her own pace, surrounded by love, patience, and prayer. Now, she writes beautifully and dreams of becoming a nurse. Ruth is currently in Grade 4, and her determination is remarkable. She often leads prayers during morning devotions, a radiant sign of her growing confidence, spiritual maturity, and faith in Jesus! Ruth is no longer lost!
Friends, Jesus came to seek and to save the lost! Why? Because people are valuable to Jesus. You are, I am, and the children who come from “hard places.” Thanks for praying and loving children!
