“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Rom. 15:13

Fountain of Hope

Hope is not a luxury for children who have lost one or both parents. It is the difference between a life that collapses inward and a life that dares to reach upward. A child who has lost a parent often loses more than a caregiver—they lose a sense of belonging. Hope tells a child: “Your story is not over.” This is the beginning of healing!

The children at Fountain of Hope in Bulawayo are thriving academically and socially. All are enrolled in school, from the youngest to Natasha and Nqobile who are completing their university degrees. Their journey reflects the long-term investmentmade in each child’s education.

Beyond academics, the children are nurtured spiritually and emotionally:

Daily Bible Study: Every evening, the children gather for Bible study, strengthening their faith and building a foundation of values that guide their lives.

Church Participation: Many are actively involved in church life, some assist with worship, while others serve in Sunday school ministry, learning responsibility and leadership through service.

Skills Training: To prepare them for independence, children are being trained in practical skills such as gardening and household chores. These experiences equip them to manage life outside the home with confidence and resilience.

Psychological Support: Recognizing the impact of past trauma, the home provides ongoing psychological support. This helps children process their experiences, cope with challenges, and build emotional stability for the future.

Hope is one of life’s most powerful gifts, the Lord gives to all of us! Your investment is impacting children at risk for time and eternity. On behalf of our children – thank you!
