Hands of Hope sponsors various skills training programs for youths who have “aged out” of the system.
The programs provide valuable life skills so that these young adults can earn a living.
The Sewing Skills program began in 2019, and 67 young ladies have been trained as of late 2025.
The 7th session of Sewing Skills just completed with 11 young ladies attending.
The ladies are given a sewing machine when they graduate so that they can begin to be self sustaining.
Some have opened their own shops in their home town, and others have gone to work for bigger companies.
This program has been a great success!
