Champions
The VBS experience brought smiles and joyful faces to the children at Runyararo home. The program commenced on June 17th at 2pm with the introductions and the songs. The HOH team managed to reach out to the kids and cultivate the main crux of the camp and lessons through bible stories, craft, songs, group activities and skits.
The camp was divided into two teams, the younger and the old ones. The kids were excited to have the VBS experience at their home. The interesting part of the VBS was that 80% of the kids managed to grasp and memorise the bible verses and retelling the bible stories, among the kids are Miriam, Esther, Daniel and Peter.
Round Table Session

“Education gives you opportunity and money give you options”
Pastor Khumbu took the older group for the round table session and delve deeper for three days equipping the young people with life skills. He gave 6 attributes that leads to a successful life which are attitude, personal growth, integrity, priorities, work ethics and relationship.
Children were given tasks to create skits on attitude as an effective way of engaging them in the lesson. It was amazing to see the children show casing their acting skills, David (on the left picture) acted as an old man and has great acting skills. Following this good piece of acting, Pastor Khumbu promised to film it and show the drama in other countries, that brought smiles to the children faces. Children were encouraged to prioritize their education and make wise choices in life. There was lot of laughter and the children were participating and engaging in the session.
Game Time
The game time was a fun packed moment when the Pastor joined his children and play with them. The children had a great time playing outside.
The aunties were also participating in the games. It was a good moment which transmogrifies the lives of the children.
