Habitation of Hope – 6 to 8 November 2020
Our Transformational Center Envisioning Conference was a resounding success. 5 pastors from our 5 pioneering projects attended the conference. Each pastor came with 2 Bridging Schools teachers, 2 Preschool teachers and 1 Social worker.
Thanks to zoom, Pastor Glen did the official opening. Thereafter I gave ministry historical perspective, what we are currently doing and our trajectory come 2021 and beyond.
The lessons were intense; however, Habitation experience is never complete without relaxation. We take pride in serving our partners, showing them in a practical way how we value them.
Our 3 guest speakers were on time and they did a splendid job. Samuel of SOS Waterfalls and Jonathan of Viva were not new to Habitation of Hope. Mr Dzumbunu, a lecturer from a Government Preschool teacher training institute in Arcadia called Morgan Zintec was with us for the first time. Our partners were so excited about the unfolding partnership between us and Morgan College. Chipo (bridging school teacher at Rugare) trained with this college.
Our Sewing Project took the opportunity to showcase the strides girls have made in garment making. The girls designed and sew the dresses they are putting on in 3 hours. Three dresses were bought and a gift of US$110 was given to the girls by the partners. Pastors: Cleopas, Jeff, Henry, Cosmos and Gideon took time to pray for the future of the project.
I would like to thank Hands of Hope USA for making this camp possible. I am also thankful to our Habitation of Hope team for a job well done.
