“Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Cor. 9:6-7

 Bountiful Sowing

I grew up on a farm in southern Minnesota. Hence, I learned from a very young age some important principles of sowing and reaping. My dad always planted bountifully, purposefully and cheerfully. We were however always dependent on God to provide the rain and necessary sunlight to produce an abundant harvest. Pastor Gideon has been sowing on purpose into the lives of these 3 young men – Future Mekious Mundicha; Babongisi Ncube and Denzel Gwebu. All three are from the Penial HOH home in Bulawayo. They are growing in wisdom, stature and in favor with God. Pastor is expecting an abundant harvest – 30, 60 or 100 fold.

 A Lavish Harvest

Future is a gifted young man and has showcased his scientific innovation on a national platform! He has been with Peniel since July 2009 as his father passed away in 2006 and his mother’s whereabouts is not known.

Babongisi lost both parents and came to Peniel through the recommendation of the head of a local primary school. Denzel had been living with a single mother who is believed to be a prostitute.  Another young man from Peniel named Arnold is taking classes for a diploma in Agriculture and currently doing an internship at Habitation of Hope.

Purposeful and Cheerful Giving

I want you to know that your sacrificial, focused and joyful giving is helping transform lives for time and eternity. Your sowing is not in vain! Thank you!

For the glory of His name,
