“And I, the Son of Man, have come to seek and save those like him who are lost.”

Luke 19:10 NLT

Have you ever been lost? I am not talking getting lost while driving. I mean really lost? Lostness is the history of humanity from the garden until today. Most of us can probably quote Luke 19:10 but this little short man by the name of Zacchaeus was lost in a tree! But the Finder found him and said “salvation has come to this home today for this man has shown himself to be a son of Abraham.”

The Savior found each of us somehow, somewhere? Hands of Hope is about finding those who are lost – precious children who have lost their parents and thus at risk! Over the last 13 years the Lord has entrusted into our hands hundreds of children. One of these is a young woman named Luci, who you see holding a microphone speaking to vulnerable children.

Luci was found and became part of one of our residential homes called Philadelphia 3. After completing her formal schooling she took a course in designing. When the Lord gave us Habitation of Hope Camp, Luci became part of the staff. She works with another young woman, Alice, who also came from one of our homes. Together they host the visitors who come and take care of their needs. Luci and Alice are also part of a new church plant, “Green Valley”, very close to our new property. Last Sunday they had around 150 in attendance. The picture you see was their church’s outreach to children from the very poor community in the surrounding area.

God is using Luci because she wants to be used! She desires to give back and minister to children at risk because she is grateful that the Lord rescued her and placed her in one of our HOH homes!

We praise the Lord for His saving grace! May your heart be filled with praise this Easter season as we celebrate His resurrection! We thank you for your loving support!
